![]() Jim McLean Golf School Executive Director PGA Golf Professional A native of Rome New York, Dave began his PGA career in the Metropolitan New York area in 1970. During the early seventies, Dave met Jim McLean while they were both teaching and serving PGA Apprenticeships under legendary professionals Bob Watson and Bill Collins. After election to PGA membership in 1975, Dave served as Head Professional and Director of Golf at such prestigious private clubs as Fishers Island Club, The Maidstone Club in New York, and maroon Creek Club in Aspen, Colorado. These 33 years of experience also produced an impressive playing career which included playing in three US Senior Opens, winning three Colorado Senior Section Championships and being named PGA Player of the Year in Vermont in 1995 and in Colorado in 1997, 1998, and 2000. Dave’s teaching abilities were recognized with a Metropolitan PGA Junior Golf Leadership Award in 1989 and being named Teacher of the Year by the Colorado West PGA three times. With a long friendship and their mutual goal of excellence in golf instruction, Dave is an ideal selection as Director of the PGA West School. |
